Zhuhai International Container Terminals (Jiuzhou), ZICT(J), located in the city of Zhuhai on the western bank of the Pearl River Delta (PRD) in the Guangdong Province, adjacent to Macau and 36 nautical miles from Hong Kong, commenced operations in 1993. Providing container and general cargo handling services, ZICT(J) operates five multi-purpose berths.

As a special economic zone attracting many foreign investments, the six key industries established in Zhuhai are; electronics and communications equipment, home electrical appliances, pharmaceuticals and medical products, petrochemical products, machinery and electricity supply. With its advanced software system and handling facilities, efficient transportation network and regular feeder services to Hong Kong, Shekou, Chiwan, Yantian and Nansha, ZICT(J) has become Zhuhai's main cargo gateway.

The Western Coastal Expressway and the Jiangmen-Zhuhai Expressway provide access to the entire western PRD

The Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway and the Taiyuan-Macau Expressway further connect Zhuhai with other parts of the PRD and cities throughout China
