Pivotal Feeder Port in Foshan City

Nanhai International Container Terminals, NICT, located at Sanshan Economic Development Zone in the Nanhai Area of Foshan City in the mid-northern area of the Pearl River Delta in the Guangdong Province, is 84 nautical miles from Hong Kong and 70 nautical miles from Shenzhen. Commencing operations in 1994, NICT operates seven berths capable of handling both container and general cargo.

NICT serves as the gateway of Foshan area and neighbouring Guangzhou, offering logistics services to local industries in scrap materials recycling, porcelains, home electrical appliances and aluminium materials, to list a few. It provides regular feeder services to Hong Kong, Shekou, Chiwan and Nansha, and on-site joint inspection units' services. NICT also provides a comprehensive range of terminal services that include refrigerated warehouse, import bonded warehouse, export surveillance warehouse, vessel and cargo agency, container repair and maintenance, banking and e-commerce.

The Foshan First Highway Ring connects the five areas of Foshan City (Chancheng, Nanhai, Shunde, Sanshui and Gaoming)

Connecting NICT to the entire Guangdong Province by sophisticated expressways: Beijing-Zhuhai, Guangzhou-Shenzhen and the Guangzhou-Shantou Expressways

Continuous Improvement in Terminal Services

Phase II development to increase the container yard and warehouse capacity will help to elevate the storage services offered to customers and the total area of NICT to 400,000 sq. metres

NICT is one of the four functional districts of the Sanshan International Logistics Park, a first-class project with an area of 5.33 million sq. metres designated by the Foshan Municipal Government. Other functional districts include bonded logistics centre, logistics and processing centre and business service area. The Park is designed to develop integrated logistics services, consolidation and distribution centre, processing industry and commerce in Foshan City. As the only gateway for the Park, NICT is a pivotal port for Foshan City
