Major Port Serving Wuyi Region and Yangjiang

Jiangmen International Container Terminals, JMCT, located in the Jiangmen Municipality lies along the Xijiang River in the mid-western area of the Pearl River Delta in the Guangdong Province. Its ideal location is accessible to an extensive water transportation network connecting to inner ports along Xijiang River, Beijiang River and the Pearl River Delta, as well as convenient international shipping routes to Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

Since commencing operations in 1995, JMCT has provided regular feeder services to Hong Kong, Shekou, Chiwan and Nansha and is regarded as a major feeder port with over 12 feeder operators serving areas in the western PRD such as Wuyi region and Yangjiang River. JMCT is capable of handling both container and heavy general cargo of 50 tonnes, including reefer containers and dangerous goods.

• Seven super expressways interweave throughout the Jiangmen region; the Foshan-Kaiping Expressway, the Kaiping-Yangjiang Expressway, the Taishan and Xinhui sections of the Western Coastal Expressway, the Xinhui-Taishan Expressway, the Jiangmen-Heshan Expressway and the Jiangmen-Zhongshan Expressway

• The Jiangmen-Zhuhai Expressway directly connects Jiangmen to Zhuhai and Macau, providing expedient and reliable road access to a major international shipping port in the western PRD – Zhuhai International Container Terminals (Gaolan)

One-Stop Service Excellence

• On-site joint inspection units' services and advanced customs X-ray container inspection system, provide customers convenience and the benefit of same day declaration and shipment of export cargo

• Sophisticated and integrated container management system offers registered customers access to monitor container status using the internet

• The ten warehouses with a total area of 10,000 sq. metres located at the terminal provides warehousing and consolidation services

• Vessel and cargo agency service are also available under JMCT's excellent and efficient one-stop service
